Tide
TIDE is equal parts installation, interactive theatre work, dance performance and endurance test. Two office workers (Gavin Webber and Joshua Thomson) carry on their duties in a furnished office on a sandbar in the middle of Currumbin Estuary. During low tide, they stand safely on sand, but as the tide rises, water submerges their office completely. For 49 hours, without food or supplies, the two put themselves at the mercy of both the tide and the compassion of the community to survive.
in 2018 it won a Helpmann award for best visual or physical theatre work
